Michelle Kowalski

Working as a nutritionist since, Michelle earned her BA in 1990 from SUNY Plattsburg. In 1992, Michelle received her Masters Degree from New York Institute of Technology and is  certified by New York State as a nutritionist.  As a Registered Dietitian and a member of the American Dietetic Association for over 15 years, Michelle has held the Clinical Director position at CNR/Bethcorp-Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and Beth Abraham Rehabilitation facility. Her career has taken her to Park Avenue Extended Care where she was part of the original opening team helping to build the nutrition department and kitchen from floor plans. Her responsibilities included purchasing all supplies, hiring staff and all food service operations and clinical nutrition services for the 280 bed facility. Michelle then returned to CNR to oversee the Home Care Nutrition Services division. She supervised 14 nutritionists and 500 clients while overseeing all services regarding patient care in home situations.  She opened NutriHealth in 2002 with 6 clients which expanded to provide services for the Port Washington community. NutriHealth provides education and personal counseling to clients for weight loss, diabetic education and cardiac nutrition management.
